The Baba Belt™ was created in 2005 by Arik Bannister, when, shortly after the birth of his son Cole, he found himself wanting to experience the bond created during feeding time. Arik quickly realized that feeding time required both hands and made many simple tasks difficult to perform while feeding baby. The Baba Belt became the solution.

Realizing that many new parents could benefit from this product, Arik and wife Colleen began selling the Baba Belt online and in local retail shops.
